Up on Cloud 27
Some days I'm on cloud 27 (3 x cloud 9) and I've just got to tell someone. Welcome to my Web Journal - thanks for stopping by!

Last night I went to see the Finn Brothers play at Bournemouth Pavillion. I've been a fan of theirs for years, but I'd never seen them live before. They were incredible!
If you don't know the Finn Brothers, they're Neil (formerly lead singer of Crowded House) and Tim (formerly lead singer of Split Enz). Its great that they're still writing songs and touring after all these years.

I was fortunate enough to go back stage after the gig and meet Neil. Despite having his dressing room invaded by a lot of folks - he was incredibly nice. I hope he didn't mind us crashing the after-show party. Neil - thanks for the autograph, you made my decade.
Minnie Driver supported the Finns. I admit I was sceptical about her before the show - but she was good.
Watching the gig made me appreciate how hard musicians work. I owe my trip backstage to guitarist, banjo and keyboard player (all in the same song) Paul Slater. Paul - you rock! If you ever need an entourage again let me know. Thank you so much!
I'm planning a big trip to Australia and New Zealand for next year. I hope to catch a Finn Brothers gig while I'm there!

Sunny Day Rating: 11/10
